The farm, made up of the villa and several farm houses, was born from the restoration of ancient observation towers that, from the Etruscan time until the mid 17th century, dotted the hill. From 1791 on, after the marriage of Camilla del Rosso and Massimiliano Libri, the waterworks and the beggining of grape and olive cultivation gave the farm its 19th century form. The 20th century brought the war, after which the farm was restored to suite a modern lifestyle, and more recently, a biodynamic and organic method of production.
